Internet Forum Implodes

Persons interested in discussing the hottest issue in LeFlore County, Oklahoma have one less internet forum in which to do so today.
The administrator of the forum operated by Cyberlink Rural Telecommunications, Inc. of Poteau, OK went into an apparent meltdown over the weekend and dumped not only hundreds of discussions regarding Barbara Ellison's battle for justice but also deleted the section of the forum called 'Barbara's Place' where such discussions took place, going to the extreme of banning Barbara Ellison and the supporters of her battle for justice from accessing the forum.
While Cyberlink's owners have every right to operate their private business as they see fit, their actions in this instance do send a message. A message that the company's owners are not interested in hosting an open forum where a variety of views are expressed and discussed but rather one where discussions of the sad state of affairs in LeFlore County, Oklahoma are forbidden, as are those that seek to discuss them.

With the demise of the CLNK forum as an open and uncensored medium for discussion of LeFlore County issues there are but two such forums left in which Barbara Ellison's fight for justice may be openly discussed.
Those are 'The Oklahoma Forum' and 'At Home in the Choctaw Nation'. Both of which welcome all and do not engage in censorship, banning or have administrators that go into meltdowns at a moments notice or have a hidden agenda.

It's not the first time this has happened. They've even shut down the board completely in the past.
Certain people don't like anyone blathering about LeFlore County's dirty secrets on an internet forum.

I think it would be good to see it shut down. The CLNK management apparently lacks moral clarity. Look at the "moderators" (cough cough) they appoint!

Most upsetting to me is the cyberlink home page has a link to the community forum they host, but there is no link on the home page for Twisted Sisters or At Home in the Choctaw Nation for the community to go to. These links were posted in the discussions that were erased when the moderator lost control of himself. I am going to copy this Leflore County News article and forward it to Evan and Tony.

A new forum for Leflore has also popped up at http://lefloren.com. We should spread the news to everyone for Twisted Sisters, Choctaw Nation, LeFlore County News, and LeFloreN. Too bad cyberlink won't put a link to these places so people know where to go now that they shutdown their forum.

I heard that there was a court hearing concerning the Ellison property recently...What kind of hearing was it, and what was the result?

The court hearing pertained to a temporary injunction sought by Barbara Ellison's neighbors and seeking to prohibit her from using her property. We will have an update out shortly.

There have been a lot of changes. We are still waiting for that court hearing to detrmine who the rightful owner of that strip of land is where the deeds for Barbara Ellison and Wayne and Belinda Wolfe appear to overlap, and Barbara still has not had her day in court to answer the Assault and Battery charges filed by Belinda Wolfe. Those of us who have supported Barbara have severed our ties with the TWISTED SISTERS due to (especially)one of the administrators changing sides and continually saying she was sick of this mess, and seeming to get mad at the rest of us because we did not switch sides when she did. We moved our discussions to a temporary home while a new board was being constructed, and low and behold who should appear but that administrator and less than a handful of people she can control to continue the fighting and discrediting and false accusations, by taking phrases out of context to make them sound totally different than what was posted. When the new board was constructed they appeared there talking trash. This trash was immediately, and will continue to be, deleted by the moderators of that board.
Barbara was asked to cease making a certain reference to the fence, but that administrator brought it up at least 4 more times.
When I did not fall in line with that administrator, my global moderator privlidges were revoked after editing a filthy word posted by that administrator and was then banned from board.
I ask you this: If they were so sick of hearing about this mess, why were they not satisfied that we left and started our own board? Why did they follow us to keep up the fight?
IMO this behavior is sick and not very attractive to 50 year old women.
